This is a drama about an aging professional wrestler, decades past his prime, who now barely gets by working small shows in VFV halls, wrestling and trade as a part-time employee store. Who faces health problems that may end his career wrestling for good trying to come to terms with his life outside the ring: by working full time at the store, trying to reconcile with the daughter he left behind in childhood and establishing a closer relationship with the stripper has romantic feelings. He struggles with his new life and an offer of a high-profile rematch with his arch-nemesis in 1980, Ayatollah, which may be his ticket back to the stars.
